Summer 1 Term 2025
Hello and a very warm welcome to Courtney’s Class.
We hope you’ve all had a lovely break and are ready for the new Summer term.
In Courtney’s Class this term our topic will be ‘Same Author Different Story’. This nicely ties in to our English topic where we will be exploring the narrative Super Worm and Zog. In Science we will be investigating the different stages of a sunflower’s lifecycle, where we will plant and grow our very own sunflowers!
In PSHE we will be concentrating on ‘Taking Care of Ourselves’, here we will look at what makes a healthy lifestyle and how we can become healthier. In Maths we are working very hard and learning about money number calculating, time and shape. On top of all that, we will be taking part in games and working on our fundamental movement.
