Hello and a very warm welcome to Courtney’s Class. 

We hope you’ve all had a lovely Christmas break and are ready for the new term. 

In Courtney’s Class this term our topic will be ‘What makes Britain Great’. This nicely ties in to our Geography topic where we will be exploring Blackpool and Burnley. Here we will be exploring and comparing Landmarks, and why we visit Blackpool! In Science this term we will be focusing on working Scientifically, here we will be taking part in experiments and making observations. In PSHE we will be concentrating on exploring our feelings and strategies to manage these. In Maths, we will be exploring fractions, practicing our number counting and beginning to learn about capacity. On top of all that, we will be developing our balancing, agility and co-ordination skills through Gymnastics in PE.
