Laura's Class 2024 - 2025
Hi everyone and welcome to Autumn Term 2 in Laura’s Class.
During Autumn Term 1, everyone settled in very well and learnt new routines, structures and class rules. We read the Gingerbread Man story and wrote about our favourite characters, amongst lots of other fun learning activities. Please take a look at our lovely photos from this first half term.
During Autumn Term 2 we will be covering two topics…
‘Me and My Shadow’ – We will be learning about sources of light and how to make shadows (5weeks).
‘Time to Celebrate' – This will include acting out the ‘Nativity’ story and reading ‘Stick Man' by Julia Donaldson, writing letters to Santa and making cards and decorations in preparation for Christmas (3 weeks).
These topics will take us up to the Christmas holidays, which leads us to say...
"Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year"
