British Science Week

Date: 21st Mar 2025 @ 9:44am

Jenny's class absolutely loved British Science Week in March. We used our engineering and problem-solving skills to create tall towers from marshmallows and spaghetti. We also enjoyed discussing different states of matter and melting ice to free the toy people in our Outdoor Classroom; this linked nicely to our Science learning on the life stages of a human. We watched a live lesson all about Astronauts too, we were extremely engaged and took part in some of the activities. From this, we even learnt about how being hydrated affects the colour of our wee! To finish off our fantastic week, Zoolab came in with some live creatures. We were extremely brave and were able to see and stroke a snake and a snail. We saw a tarantula and tree frog too!
